My Entry for the How to Train your Dragon Discover Your Duo Contest. My Duo is Toothless and Stormfly, I have been particularly fond of these two dragons as a team considering their riders are the leaders of Burk after Stoick's death. Once Toothless became the alpha dragon presumably Stormfly became his second in command due to how long they have worked together and that Stormfly's rider Astrid acted as Hiccup's Lieutenant and adviser. As such Stormfly is the dragon we see Toothless interact with the most until he meets the Light Fury. Not to mention Stormfly is the second most iconic dragon in the franchise making her the Beta Dragon in more ways than one. in this image I wanted to portray their thoughts when being a leader with Toothless looking serious and protective of Hiccup and the other dragons while Stormfly becomes curious and alert showing strong loyalty to the alpha.
