Description
This is my Character Redesign of the Decepticon Communications officer Soundwave

He is mostly based around his Movie and Transformers Prime Designs but has the colours of his G1 and Cyberverse forms. Although his G1 and Bumblebee Movie forms are iconic I find it a bit silly that a massive robot transforms into a tiny cassette player. Since it is mentioned that he use to be a gladiator I have made Soundwave bulkier and similar in appearance to his master and fellow gladiator Megatron. Due to Soundwave having a unique biology compared to most Cybertronians I have decided to make him a triple changer since he is seen turning into either plane or car across the different series. My Design can transform into a 2004 Scion xB car and a Bell X-1 plane. His Loyalty to Megatron makes him unpopular with the other Decepticons especially Starscream due to Soundwave's role as Megatron's second set of eyes and ears.

Laserbeak is based around his movie appearance but keeps a similar colour to his cartoon counterparts. he was included into my redesign due to him being the only Minicon to be with every version of Soundwave and being the only Minicon I could take seriously. Like most versions of the show. he is ejected from Soundwave's chest.
