Description I was asked to do a coloring tutorial by a few people. While it's not my normal style, this is my basic process for coloring small things. Thought it might be better to simplify for people who aren't experienced with/ don't have photoshop.

Ah Derp, that's why my colours were so flat, I was just blending in the same colours with darker tones lol

Thank you for this but how do you do the color lines? Do you just use the color with the pen? Or is there something else you can do?

if I like a solid color line art and don't want to trace over each part in it's own color, I will use the lasso tool in Photoshop to select the line segment that I want to color, then use cmd+U to change the color of it without needed to re-draw it.
