Description This is Bloom from a cartoon called "The WINX Club." I promised that I would do a giftart for her a gazillion years ago and I never got to it D: So, I'm actually trying to draw gifts to those that I said I would but never did now >_<

Anyway...I actually like how this came out Got lazy with the background though (as usual :/) But I wanted to "try" to keep things simple this time <__<;; Ahaha, if you know the show, then you'll know that I didn't even draw her fairy wings (?)...and I used a butterfly brush I had Cause I'm cool like that 8D

Do you draw it on the computer or do you sketch it then load it to the computer?

I do both actually! But these days I find it easier to just ink it by hand and scan it on to the computer. Before I used to just put in the pencil sketch and ink in on the computer.

cool! Even though I sound incredibly lame... I've never drawn before... Is ink it the same as colour it in??? I know it's stupid I don't know, but all the same, I would like too

Lol, umm no inking is basically when you go over your sketch with a marker or pen or whatever you want to use to darken the lines.

It doesn't look exactly like bloom, the skin tones a bit off.. But I can't even begin to draw one of the winx club characters so I am still jealous! How on earth do you draw like that?!?!?!

Well, this has already become quite an old drawing and I've improved with a lot of my techniques It just takes a lot of time and practice I guess ^_^

i like the way the skin tones turned out...and her hair...not to mention the eyes...come to think of it - the costume was done well too...

This blows my mind..I just simply love the colors (<3's blue)
She looks beautiful and I love the simple but very elegant butterfly wings you gave her ^^
The shining and sparkling make her seem some what magical (which I know she is ) And her hair just stands out of it all OwO
I really love the lighting and shading and omg hte beauitful eyes once again >w< But this time with some golden yellowish eye shadow <3 She looks beautiful I love this

If that skirt blows any higher, your pic would need censoring! Hehe, but seriously, this pic rocks! *^.^* The wings are fabulous, and I love the hair too...I always love the hair! Your calfs look good too there, like a bit different from one another because of how she's standing, and it makes a real difference to the outcome of your piccu If I had done it, any different or anything, I might have added the boots and clothes a bit differently. The folds and everything are just dandy, but the way they seem attached to her maybe would be different if my hand were guiding the pen(or stylus)...but that's just me. Just telling ya too because you like good crit and to hear what could be changed/improved. Overally, it kicks a ton of butt, and like I've said a bajillion times before, I can really see the changes and growth in your works!

Hahha, don't worry my art doesn't go into the censored direction I really like the clothing suggestions, but at that moment I didn't know if she should keep her uniform or something else and I was too lazy to think so I just used her regular uniform >__< I really want to work on making my artwork look more detailed cause I know that that would look a lot more interesting...neh?? hehe

I loathe your mad skillz for coloring, my dear. We should do a paint chat thing sometime so that you can show me how you do those crazy highlights. I still haven't found a way of coloring that I particularly like. T_T
