You had no troubles with walking? I mean, mostly I find tutorials with wooden hooves to make sure you don't fall backwards. Are pipes and foam enough?

The piping I used was thick drainage pipe so it was very stable, all your weight is on the balls of your feet. The foam is just for aesthetics. Piping was much much lighter than wood, with the same durability. I was trying to avoid having a really big bottom because I wasn't going to pad my legs at all. Walking was fine, but my legs did get tired. For long durations I would add some sort of support system on my calves and thighs but I was only in the cosplay for about 4 hours.
