um i asked and i mentioned the artist in the description, they would be alerterd and they could tell me to take it down, plus if someone just draws they can draw that without knowing the artist, so bug off and read before you bark

Dammit, you can just ignore the comment I just wrote, I thought you were the person that reposted art. But you are still wrong about your statement, I must say. People must be alerted about stolen, or art that was reposted without permission. They shouldn't mistake stolen art as the original. That's what I was doing, and you did nothing wrong-I was just trying to alert you. Did I do anything that offended you? I'm pretty sure I didn't, nor did I have any of those intentions; If I didn't make that clear, I'm sorry. I fail to see why you'd write an offensive comment while my attempt was to justify credit. What do you mean by "Read?" There is hardly anything to read in this situation. I never said you should take your art down, or something like this, I was just telling you the original artist, who deserve credit. Sorry if my point was not clear, and sorry again for my crap English.

The art is already up on the net for people to see. There is no need for you to re-feature it. Besides, this isn't really only the original artist's problem. You shouldn't repost art, and wait until the original artist tells you to take it down. That's wrong according to the Deviantart policy and people easily mistake those actions as "stealing". If the original artist said "Yes, you can go ahead and repost it" BEFORE you reposted, it is fine, but according to what you just said, that's not what you did. For the people. It's like saying; It's not my art, but you can reference from it since it hardly matters. No. This isn't one's problem as I said before. Some might think this piece is yours, which it isn't, and that's the main purpose of "Art Stealers", Which, AGAIN, allows people to misunderstand. Bug off and read before you bark

i sadly waisted time and read your other long ass replies, the art is NOT Stolen, i modified it to make it mine. And ANYONE can draw any pose just randomly so it is NOT stolen it was created, litrelly anyone can create a pose that is similar to someone else's pose

They downloaded and reposted the exact same thing, instead of drawing something similar. Should I post a link to the original art, that was posted earlier but EXACTLY the same as the reposted one? Obviously the stealer won't say that they know the original artist since they don't want to be accused for stealing. And since our confusions are cleared, can we put an end to this conversation?

Sorry, i might not have read that. But, The Tumblr artist is Originally on DA if I'm not mistaken. There is already the original piece for everybody to see, and this person is merely "featuring" it. Since the original artist was uninformed about this repost, the artist here obviously didn't get permission before reposting, and this is considered theft, that's what I'm saying. Sorry if I needed to bother you, and have a nice day.

Unless the artist gave you their express written permission to post this (or if they clearly state that othersΒ can post it with the proper credit given), technically speaking, you shouldn't be posting this at all since you do not own the rights to it. And since this is already posted on dA, you should promptly take it down as I don't believe you are within your own rights to post this.

Has NO ONE noticed that the comment says it's from someone else?
Obviously, this artist found the image on tumblr and posted it here, because it is useful to others, without realizing that the original DA artist is still here.Β They're not claiming the picture, they're siting where they got it as well, on tumblr.
I do realize that DA has a disclaimer not to post art that isn't yours but several people break that rule in one way or another - posting a friends art to get it more views, posting art you had commissioned, etc.Β From the look of it, it's not posted with the intent to steal. Goodness, calm down folks, misunderstandings do happen.

what misunderstanding, people who post art on Tumblr normally have a DA account that they also have a link to on their Tumblr. There really is no excuse for why this is still up considering the fact that the original artist has this image on here already. Instead of keeping it up and refusing to take it down when being told that the artist has a DA, they haven't taken it down.
