This is a family pic of sorts and Taffyta is not always well behaved in front of the camera with her brother Spike (an OC created by )!     Taff being the Alpha girl, doesn't like to show affection with hugs but instead uses slugs! She does love her bro, however, but sometimes she shows it using a little violence! ^^

BTW the lines on this drawing are enhanced for you to see better, in reality they are very light - using a 3H and 4H pencil to make the lines.

Hmmm... that's a secret girl! ^^ JK!! The secret to shading is nothing more than having an understanding of how light interacts with your subject... a least that's what my teachers told me.  I reality, I did a lot of shading practice on circles turning them into spheres.  If you look at my earlier drawings, my shading technique was best described as  Practicing has brought me to where I'm at now but I still feel like I have a long way to go... 

BTW, I saw your Minty Zaki pic and the shading is done very well! ^^

Awesome! ^^ And I'm already thinking about Luna's drawing...   Spike looks so familiar because he's is a blend of Rancis, Swizzle, and Vanellope (especially her eyes and hoodie).  Also I used a lot of drawings by for inspiration and style references

Ahh! He looked plenty like Swizz by the leggings, the shoes obv drawing inspiration from the BUtter Boy himself and the hair is more resemblant to Gloyd.

Thanks! ^^ Still gotta do some adjustments on Taff (her left leg/foot needs to be longer) and on Spike (his head needs to be slightly larger). After that the shading starts - my favorite part!

Drawing Taffyta is hard for me - I just don't know her as well as Vanellope.  The thing with Taff's hair is figuring out how to draw it without it looking like a helmet.  Believe it or not, I did a lot of erasing and redrawing just to get to this stage of the drawing!
