Here is it the finally COMPLETED, my custom figure of Spinel. After watching "Steven Universe the Movie", I LOVE the new character Spinel; as usual I need a action figure of a character I like in my collection. Since Steven Universe action figures are nonexistent, so I had to make my own. This is actually my 3rd attempt to make a Steven Universe inspired custom, except this time I finished it! I struggled to figure out what base toy I should use for this character, but ultimately, I choose a Bendy and the Ink Machine Alice Angel figure because it kind of had a similar look to Spinel & the figure is easy to get incase I want to make Spinel's evil form on a later date. The body required the most mods to make it shorter & fit Spinel's form. It's hard to see in the photo, but I sculpted the lines on her gem, I thought about buying a plastic heart gems & used that, but I went with sculpting it because I know I'm getting the right size, shape, & pattern. The head, body, shoulders, & feet have most of the sculpting on it; especially the feet because finding Mickey Mouse like feet for action figures was not easy surprisingly, so I garbed a pair of Sonic feet & made them bigger. My biggest concern are the shoulders because they move the most & could potentially break, but I sculpted them in a way to get the most range of motion so I should be ok, but I'm still careful with it. The rings around her legs are actually, cut up pieces of Alice Angel microphone, I did this because it saves sculpting material & less likely to break. Painting wise, is mostly white & different shades of pink; finished with a matte coat & some touches of gloss paint on the eyes, teeth, & gem. I also added thumbtacks on the heels of her feet to balance her out because she's really back heavy for some reason. I really love how this figure came out, & I hope you all love it too.

EDIT:
New picture & I found a little indent on her upper lip, I couldn't un-see it so I sanded it off & repainted the "skin" parts so it would all match. I used craft paint instead of model for the skin because it was the best I could do at the time.
