Here was have 2012 Mikey, Marie, Emily, and Donnie.Commissioned, and loved doing it. It was so cute!
Marie actually looks sorta like a darker green version of how I see a genderbent Mikey; Mitchy.

What immediately caught my attention about this picture was the attention and detail that you paid to the anatomy of the characters. I'm not a fan of TMNT but I am familiar with them enough to at least know what they are supposed to look like. The picture is very well balanced and it is obvious that you spent a lot of time and caring effort on it. I'm sure that YAYProductions is going to be so excited to see this.
I'm absolutely in love with the style that you chose to do this with. The colored outlining, the smooth colors, and the crisp shading was very appropriate. Then you paired it with a background that was interesting, and had texture. I couldn't imagine a better way that you could've done this picture.
I only have a few things to offer for critique. Michelangelo's arm, the one holding the eggs, seems to be in an awkward place. If he was giving her the eggs, I would think that his hand and his arm would be bent up, as you would give someone something. I also don't know where Donatello's right arm is or what it's doing, and I don't know what the object behind Emily's head is supposed to be or why it is colored the way it is. The length of Marie's legs are good, but Emily's legs look too long for her body. I don't know if this was intentional or not. Also, when I first looked at the picture, I thought that the two couples were in the same place. I think you need to make a clearer divider between the two scenes so that we don't get that mixed up.
The pairs of characters are great and it's cute to see them in the forms that they are in. The viewer has a good idea of what is going on without blatantly describing it. And while I have already said that the characters are well done and they look fantastic, I can't help but be in love with the background as well. Especially the kitchen, I really felt like there was a lot of thought put into it. The way the stove is set up with the overhead vent and light above it is very realistic, and the grime that you put on it gave it a nice, homey touch. I really like what you did with the pot and the bowl. They almost look like you took a portrait of those items. And I don't know what machine that Donatello was working on, but it has a nice structure to it and I could believe that it was a functional machine.
In conclusion the picture is well composed, well executed, and you should be very proud of it! Thanks for posting!
