I know I promised a long time ago I'd make a tutorial, and I thought I messed it up, but found out I didn't really and redid this whole thing just for you! Don't you feel lucky. I hope you can all read it. Go easy on me though- it's my first tutorial. lol.Also, for clarification- I only colored the body because I plan on trying to do another tutorial for coloring the head and mane/tail. So hang in there y'all.

[Edit] I just looked at it at full view, and realized that you really can't see all the steps that well.
Sorry if you can't see the noise in step 15, or all the little colors added on other layers. I'll make a note to myself to make the figures bigger next time. I'd appreciate it if you let me know if it was somewhat helpful or not, and if it pays to do another tutorial. Suggestions?

I've begun editing one of my pics of my character, Sun Beau. It's looking great so far! It's not quite as detailed and refined as yours, but I think as a first try it's coming out pretty good

i just used a different tutorial to draw a horse now i'll colour it with this. yay!

There are a number of ways to color horses. This isn't the only way that I do it- I experiment and try different things as I go. Just keep practicing and find what works for you!
There are also a number of horse tutorials out there- I know *Losmios had a few along with some others. If you are really interested, there are some more out there.
