This only took me two days to do, and I'm very Happy with how it turned out. I hope my friend likes it. I got the idea for the title of this illustration by listening to this song from the Wonderland Broadway play (sadly it's not there anymore). It's a fun song and I think it goes well with the illustration. The Girl in the purple dress is me and the other girl is my friend.Beetlejuice belongs to Tim Burton

Yeah, but not for very long. the play was called Wonderland. a different telling of the Alice in Wonderland story. and when i saw it, i saw the original cast and everything. the music was good and the story was fun. but for some reason the critics, though this Alice in wonderland play would be more of the Disney Version, something that the kids could follow. but this story was aimed more for adults, but still had fun moments for kids. so i don't know why they couldn't keep this play on longer. to me, it was well worth my money to go see. you can still listen to the music on iTunes and i think someone recorded the whole play on youtube. so you might be lucky and find it.

They have not made it on dvd yet. They should do it, if they take a look at the many Tim Burton and BJ fans out there. They would know that people would buy the series

believe me, i've tried looking on itunes too. And you would think that with them bringing back the old 80's and 90's cartoons, that Beetlejuice should be next on their list. every week when they add new stuff. I go the tv show section and see if it's there. Someone should write to them and tell them what we want to see

You're very good at making your characters fit the style...love the background. I never take the time to make my backgrounds good...lol

this is really reallly cool! like, everything in this picture is amazing, from the characters, to the swirly vortex. I feel like this should be in a story book. I hope that one day, when I read a story, I see you are the illustrator. I mean, please take that as a compliment, cause I hope to see your work outside a storybook too. But, this one just speaks to me. I dont know if its the colors, or the facial expressions.

This was a fun project and I want to continue with drawing the characters. This was for my friend at school who also love all of Tim Burton's movies and love the cartoon and movie Beetlejuice. So when we are together we joke around with making a comic of us and some how we enter into Tim Burton's world and see all the characters he's created. Or a comic of one of us saying BJ's name three times and see what happens next. I guess you can say this would be the cover art or one of the illustrations for the story, and she loves it. My friend is the one with the umbrella.
I would love to illustrate stories someday, maybe I'll get a job doing that. Or doing both the illustrations and creating the story.

I figured your friend was the one with the umbrella, since you had the other character sketch recently, and you said it was you.

I don't know how soon I can make a story. But what I can promise you is some doodle art of Me my friend and BJ and Lydia. Just random stuff that I was drawing for fun and that I think my friend would really enjoy. Maybe sometime this week I will have them in my gallery.

it will sound right. just gotta have faith in your writing. Just write it, read it over to make sure it sounds good, have someone else read it, and then your golden.
