Now here's something that fans of the japanese and/or chinese culture have been wondering. Which is better? Karate or Ninjitsu? Since this involves the Kyokugen-Ryu and the Lin Kuei, I can tell you that things are going to get interesting. But there is one thing I need to address. To those of you Lin Kuei lovin' fanboys out there that may be thinking that the Kyokugen-Ryu karate fighters won't stand a chance, there's something you need to know. This ain't the Kyokugen's first rodeo in fighting ninjas with special powers, let alone anyone that can use ice abilities(just in case you Sub-zero fans dediced to pull that out of your asses). First, let me start off with the ninjas that fought, main series and crossover wise:

Ninjas:

Mai Shiranui and Andy Bogard from the Fatal Fury series(Check out Capcom vs SNK series: for Mai)

Eiji Kisaragi and Malin from the Art of Fighting and King of Fighters series

Nakoruru from Samurai Showdown series(Check out Capcom vs SNK series)

Maki Genryusai form Street Fighter series(Check out Capcom vs SNK series)

Lin from the King of Fighters series

Hokutomaru from Gaoru: Mark of the Wolves

Fuuma and Hanzo from SNK's World Heroes series(Check out NeoGeo Battle Colesium)

Jyazu from Kinazu Encounter(Also check out King of Fighters '11)

Now for the people who uses ice powers:

Kula Diamond(a.k.a the Ice Queen) from the King of Fighters series

Jyazu from Kinazu Encounter(Also check out King of Fighters '11). Well, he mostly fire attacks, but he can cause an ice pillar to land on top of you. Plus he's a demonic ninja, so yeah.

::Hmmm.......not a lot of ice users, but you get the idea. Anyway, there you have it, MK fans. The facts. Oh, I almost forgot. Some of you Sub fans probably think Ryo Sakazaki won't stand a chance against him. Well, you should know that Ryo is called the Invincible Dragon of the Kyokugen-ryu Karate. And last time I checked, a dragon's fire melts ice. Same for those who think Yuri Sakazaki can't beat little miss frosty. Even though Yuri is the Rising Phoneix of the Kyokugen-Ryu Karate.

With that being said, Kick Ass KYOKUGEN-RYU KARATE > sucky lin kuei.

And yes, Kyokugen fans, I know King is not a karate user, but she is still part of the family.
