The only thing I'd say though - wouldn't it need to be square for a coaster? You could always extend the background out the sides if it is.

It sure does. The coaster image differs slightly from this one in just the way to described. Most of my images had to be altered for print acceptance, I just didn't change the original submission to reflect that.

Awesome pic man, they look so teasy in this picture. ^_^ Besides me suggesting an oddness with the shows of the wall they are sitting on (because on the ground there is a casted shadow but the wall has direct light on it to the left) it is shaded perfectly.

There were multiple light sources. Kinda like when a picture is taken of a model. Just the photographer isn't as good in this case. lol
