Back to V4
made this
How did we get to this point?
Years gone by, did we enjoy it?
I made a promise I won't leave
But where did our love go, was it me?
'Cause you break me with your hurtful words
And you hurt me with your forceful arms
You broke my spirit long ago with shattered dreams
and broken bones, yeah
You break me
Today's a new day, a new start
You say you're sorry, I clean up
Last night's reminder, scattered empty bottles
I let the wrong ones in my heart
You break me with your hurtful words
And you hurt me with your forceful arms
You broke my spirit long ago with shattered dreams
And broken bones, yeah
You break me
Maybe I'll get into my car
I won't look back, I'll drive so far
But I really know don't where I'd go and you have always been my home
Maybe a broken jaw is better than being alone
Yeah, you break me with your hurtful words
And you hurt me with your forceful arms
You broke my spirit long ago with shattered dreams
And broken bones, yeah
You break me
Yeah, you break me
Yeah, you break me
And you break me
And you break me

If you
I appreciate it.

Agreed with Boggo, that snake texture works great.

OH WOW!Β I love the snakeskin texture, especially how it works in with the normal skin texture! amazing work, really clever, really well done!

It's brilliant, I've tried doing scales in the past but they never turned out anywhere near this fantastic!

Ah ok.
I'm not ready for that, changing textures to the source. One day maybe

like me, maybe a problem with the bump textures ?

boggo2300 In reply to artmatrix [2018-06-15 08:03:32 +0000 UTC]
Yeah that was a problem, I've actually moved on now and usually use displacement maps over bump maps, I like that with Disp maps you can raise above and sink below the surface

i have no clue with displacement maps yet...

boggo2300 In reply to artmatrix [2018-06-15 22:47:21 +0000 UTC]
They work like bump maps, though white is pushed out from the surface the max displacement, black pulled in from the surface the min displacement, and mid-grey is at the surface

Β considering how well you took to dforce, I can't wait to see!

i fail trying making dforce with V4, is always a big fail.

yes with older meshes it can be a major issue,Β I often wait for the dforce"explosion" reset and run the simulation again and stop it about 1% before it does it.

artmatrix In reply to boggo2300 [2018-06-18 07:43:01 +0000 UTC]
same problem, is always at the end the big "explosion"

boggo2300 In reply to artmatrix [2018-06-18 07:47:22 +0000 UTC]
yup,Β which is why I cancel the simulation just before it explodes, but with a long enough run that the clothing is mostly in position,Β then a little tweaking with morphs...

On the O E I attached yes, it's all dforce on her skirt, I had to stop the simulation at 96% to stop.it exploding (took me 4 or 5 goes before.i figured that out)
