A word often used to describe situations that are bleak at best, and entirely unavoidable.
It is this word that is at the root of life.
Happiness, and suffering, these are guaranteed.
Not much can be done about perspective.
We may see sadness draped across a face, yet that face has smiled.
We may see a smile, but how many times have the corners of the eyes that are smiling, been drenched with tears.
A life is to know burden.
By the time we know life we can't choose to smile or cry, we can only know it's weight.
Innocence will be lost.
