Yes, that is a safety pin, IN my skin.And no, it didn't hurt.
I thought of this idea, through the wonders of masochism, and my fascination of darkness.

I can do that with one, possibly two layers of skin, but... gah! 
On a non-squeemish note, I really like the picture, the lighting could be a little more focused -more shadows / highlights for the tendons of the hand, safety pin, etc- but the way it merges with the background, very neat.

The thing is, I did this with a crappy editing system.
Which means all I did was desaturate and touch up the contrast a bit.

I have scars on my hand from where I used to TRY and do that with a pin in my hand. Now I'm all jealous haha.
