Just in calm situations like this. Unless she is in danger, she prefers to undress before a change.

Does she recall where she left her clothes in situations like this or has she turned back and....well is caught naked?

She's usually careful were she leaves her clothes. Sometimes a friend brings a fresh pair just in case. As far as getting caught, she just stay in coyote form until she's in the clear (she can actually transform anytime she wants). Only a few people (who are her friends) has seen her naked on rare occasions.
