Description
My first digital drawing
I just watched How to train your dragon and decided that I use toothless as my first motive (I love this movie!)
Used a reference pic from the trailer (where hiccup has to eat the fish, great scene) and was also inspired by [link]
Please be kind, as mentioned this is my first digital drawing (and I stuck quite close to the reference), but its completely drawn.
I used Photoshop and a tablet, took me about 2-3h...
I would love if you could comment and make suggestions for improvement, enjoy

I stuck closely to my reference picture so I am not a good drawer but more a good copier 
still have to learn a lot about light and how it falls onto skins until I could draw something like this by heart...

I really do like how you did this. I must say that I'm very impressed with the detail that you put into him.
I know hard it is to draw dragons for me but the fact that you did such with a tablet and photoshop is spectacular,
I don't know if I can give you any good tips, I should be askin' you cause dragon's really aren't my forte.
Still you can really tell the time spent on it and like I said the detail is stupendous.

it looks very good for a first digi-painting. I think it looks like toothless and you got the expression down. the only thing i would change is make it so the black lines around his eyes aren't such an intense black. awsome!

think I managed it in this time because of the reference, without it I would have been totally lost with the shadows/highlights ...
I am still amazed how much influence some tiny white spots can have

haha yeah that is true.
Yeah i know i never realised what adding a small bit of white can do to a picture... i always use white highlights in any pictures i do now ^^

I will probably do one or two more toothless drawings (with less use of a reference) so I can practice
