the one part about my art that i dislike the most is probably how it reflects on me and my attitudes as i/they pertain to fat girls. i don't really know what motivates it but there is certainly something of an undercurrent of fat shaming in a lot of it, however much i really do really admire hefty ladies in such a variety of ways. i guess it isn't like the biggest crime in the world but there is definitely a part of me that enjoys certain aspects of weight gain probably a bit too much.

in this instance, i don't think fat girls are comparable to pigs!! i just think the pig iconography is pretty cute when used in such a context! even if it does run the risk of dehumanising the character. but then moon is a product of that impulse anyway i guess with the whole catgirl thing so i'm already pretty committed in that direction as it is, whether i like it or think it's right or not
