Here's an early #ThrowbackThursday for you all! Anybody remember this guy? I always wanted to draw/paint him! So, inspire by the revamped comics (and my boy Blakkish Â) that came out last year I gave this bad boy a shot. I did the majority of this using Autodesk SketchBook Pro for Android and used the more powerful Sketchbook 7 on my mac for the finish. All of this was done using my Wacom Cintiq Companion Hybrid in the Mobile and Desktop modes. Well, there's September's hero challenge? This is a battle I've faced a lot in the past. Now I keep a list of ideas I want to work on so I've no excuses for procrastinating!

I was looking at that. It could make for an interesting painting. Landscapes are not my thing. I will have to conquer it!

Haha, I believe you could turn your hand to most anything dude! I don't really do much environmental stuff myself, but I'm eager to improve in that area so I'll probably give a decent chunk of time to attempt it. It's pretty much an open brief the way I read it though, so I'm sure there'll be some variety this month
