Here's a really fun piece I did of a more grown up version of the Power Puff girls...having a pillow flight! How cool is that? I really wanted to have an amusing piece, and the pillow fight is something I image a lot of girls go through at some point!I just used the primary color for each of the girls, at first I was wondering if I should add other color highlights (like their hair & belts) but decided against it. I do think the characters would be more obvious if I did the highlights though...
The original was drawn on a single sheet of bristol board, using 3 pencil crayons for the girls.

I have a question, well, more of a statement:
I really became intrigued by your work when I saw you Ariel drawing. You draw the female body and the poses/proportions very nicely, almost perfectly, and I was wondering if you could somehow offer me some advice.. or.. like.. a step-by-step WIP something?
... i also would like to know what utensils you used (pencils, etc.)
As I said.. the way you draw is like.. what I'm aspiring for right now.. I'm wayyy off though.

Awesome. I still watch the show from time to time. I love just how simplistic the characters are drawn. The story kinda gets me at times too lol. I have tried for years to come up with a grown up version of the girls. But I have yet to see something that really strikes me as... YES THAT'S IT!
I love your rendition. Kinda get the impression of teens, in their element if that makes sense. Bravo Laurie, Bravo!
