just like the other one i critiqued, this one is just amazingly drawn. I don't think you wrote any of the words, so my critique will not cover that (though I have a few things to say about them). The pace in this one is perfect, I would say, as well as the dramatic shift in POV and lighting. Fits seamlessly with the text, I'd say. I usually don't like lens flares, but it works great here in a tried-and-true kind of way. My only critique, again as an avid comic book reader and not as an artist, is that the top frame seems a bit text-heavy. 3 stars for originality, though I wish I would have given more due to your impeccable execution, but I think I've seen this exact sequence of girl looking down, girl looking up, majestic thing of whatever she was looking at so many times.

Thank you, again, for all of your input. You were so kind to voluntarily tackle TWO critiques!! Getting feedback like this really makes me wish that I had had access to these opinions while I was still designing the layouts of the pages. I wonder how much different these pages would've turned out if the preliminary artwork had been critiqued?...
And, yes, I hereby find myself guilty of employing a tried-and-true, almost archetypal, incredibly cliched lens flare sequence to maximize the drama of the piece.
... and it worked!
Thank you so much for your thoughts, and I hope that you'll come back to comment again someday.

Hey, thanks a lot!
I wish I had another chance to take a crack at that lens flare, but I guess it came out okay.

I like your composition, it looks so easily arranged and I can only guess how hard it is to draw create a comic where all pictures are necessary to get the story.

Thank you very much!
Doing comic pages like this feels like juggling sometimes; laying out your composition, the technical execution of the figures, all while hoping that your page shows the readers enough information to illustrate the story.
I'm glad that you enjoy the end result!

Beautiful work to both of you! The way the image and the words combine is amazing. The layout is so soft and full of dreams.
Wonderful detail on the art too.

Oh this is magical! O.o It's sorrowful and sad in a beautiful way. Very well drawn... There's simply not enough words to describe the emotions it awakens inside of us (the audience) and, I imagine, in you when you were drawing it. Congratulations for the awesome pieces of art. Certainly one of the greatest additions to DA
