Description graphite on paper - 30 cm x 40 cm - 2012

There was in times of old, where Ymir dwelt, nor sand nor sea, nor gelid waves; earth existed not, nor heaven above, 'twas a chaotic chasm, and grass nowhere.
Then went all the powers to their judgement-seats, the all-holy gods, and thereon held council, who should of the dwarfs race create, from the sea-giant's blood and livid bones.
From Ymir's flesh the earth was formed, and from his bones the hills, the heaven from the skull of that ice-cold giant, and from his blood the sea.

Looks very ghostly, foggy. I really like that effect.

Great drawing. I love organic or 'biomorphic' forms. Plus, when it's used in a landscape and presented in an evocative manner such as this, even better.

thanks Marcel, that's the last drawing finished before I get to our little project. But there was a painting inbetween - still unresolved, so I put it aside for now ......

we chanel the same stuff. And then there is my friend Peter Gric also. Working in the same building as Ernst Fuchs, who was Gigers inspiration, does help.....

Thanks Tassos - seems like drawing is going best for me right now. It helps to have a studio without the distraction of a computer.
