'Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater' for the PS2 is prolly my fave game at the moment, so it's to be expected that I'd wanna draw up some fanart. I was expecting I'd draw Raikov, but no I ended up drawing Snake himself.

My first time colouring in photoshop CS, as opposed to 5.5 which I usually use. I feel more comfortable with 5.5, CS is weird and awkward and I hate it >= P However, I love the way you can make your own brushes, with different angles and stuffies^^ The skin pores, hair some of the leaves and even the crosshatching on the cloth, were all brushes I made specifically for this pic.

Originally, I'd drawn the whole of the background in full, sharp detail; So it was a shame when I finished and realised how wrong it looked, and that it needed blurring.
That's the Woodland facial camouflage he's waring, not me attempting to draw some kind of weird lighting effect. I hope it doesn't look like that
