As much as people hate for me to say this, this picture still counts as art. Even if you try to ignore the fact that it has some mature content, and it seems 'attention whoreish' it's obvious by the colors selected that the photographer chose this kind of look, and pose, because the colors mesh so well together. The warm colors of the skin go really well with the bed, or cloth, or whatever the model is laying on, and the underwear chosen to be worn for the transparency is dark enough to stand out, but not soo dark as to seem out of place, giving this picture a good sense of balance.
I find it ironic that because it's a picture of an ass, people are quick to judge this as " OOH LOOK AN ATTENTION WHORE TRYING TO SHOW OFF HER ASS LOL THIS IS ONLY POPULAR BECAUSE ALL THE HORNY GUYS SEE IT." If it was a drawing, a painting, or even a vector of the same subject, with the same colors and the exact same pose, people will call THAT art instead of this.
What difference should it make?
I think it's time to stop the hypocrisy already. Just as the artist who took this picture must accept all comments, both the ones in favor, and the ones against her selective choice of art, we must accept ALL form of art, including the artistic nudes, and somewhat sultry pictures.

Oh.My.Gosh. I'm sick of seeing badly photographed boobs and asses on the front page. There are other sites for this kind of crap you know. What happened to genuine art? The kind that takes a long time to do, that has QUALITY VALUE. The kind that makes you feel like you are there? Because quite frankly, I wouldn't want to be there. And I'm sure the magority of faves this abomination has received are from lonely, lust filled guys. . I just needed to get that out.

Actually, I'm favoring this because of the nice way all the colors merge together, and how the darker shades of the underwear leads the eye to the center, which is clearly the focal point of the picture.
Not all great art takes forever to make, and how do you know the artist who took this picture didn't take his or her time making it? For all you know, she could of taken dozens of pictures in different angles, and poses, to get the balance of color and texture that she was satisfies enough to post up on dev.art.
I'm not saying that you HAVE to love this picture. We all have our opinions. Just as you have your right to dislike something, I have the right to like something. But just because you dislike this kind of ard, it does not mean you can just shove this off as not being art, or claim that the photographer put no effort to it, if you have no idea if that is true or not.

I know, and the reason you gave is probably in the minority of reasons who faved it. I just do not enjoy near nude photos getting a bunch of faves JUST because it is a nude photo. I did not mean to go all out on that comment, it is just because It's a but. Thats why most people probably faved it. If you look through the comments, most of them say how hot this is, or pervy comments. Sorry if I offended you, but this is how I feel on the matter.

Sadly, things like this are things we cannot control. You shouldn't take it out on the person who made this picture. For all we know, he or she just has a great talent to take these kind of pictures. If people flock to it for the wrong reasons, why take it out on the artist and say his or her art is not art, because you hate the subject matter?
And, if you look at the front pages, this may have a lot of views, but tons others on the front page that are not nude or nearly nude photos, have TONS more. I think the reason that nudes/nearly nudes get so many views, aside from the obvious, is because we all have a primal curiosity when it comes to the naked body. Why else would you have clicked on it in the first place, aside to complain?

I like the warm tones of the photo. However, I would have eliminated the green wristband. It takes away from the warmth ad looks as if it it wasn't meant to be there. Good job on the final touches, though.
