It's nice too see a sandworm drawn a bit differently. Great work.

I'll admit, I got a bit 'OH MY FUCK THAT THING IS GONNA KILL ME' when I completely processed the perspective.
Damn that's scary. e-e

I have no idea why this wasn't accepted into our group. Appologies as I might have not seen the image to vote on it.

the 3 stooges seem a bit under-equipped in front of the beast...

This is brilliant, love the sense of scale to it. (That's something none of the adaptations have gotten right, I think. The worms always end up looking a bit goofy and they really shouldn't.)

I can see a tale of EPIC proportions unfolding in my mind! I love the colour palette used! I like how the use of so many colours and textures and brushstrokes in all different directions makes the negative space so interesting to look at; and makes an otherwise empty picture busy. Watch out guys! D8 Hold onto your hats!

As much as I wish I could see more of that awesome creature, I think it being subtle is really what makes this piece as amazing as it is. I love this piece!

damn
sorry for double posting but i feel compelled to ask dude
any refs or special brushes used?
i think what captivates me the most is the figures at the bottom

Nope, no references used. I just match the colours how I feel they would work with each other well. It is a practice, where I try to explore my own thinking, without looking for ideas in any photos. There are some custom brushes, but nothing magic Thanks for comment!

i dont believe in magic and i certainly dont believe in custom brushes
dont get me wrong im not one of those who depend on them for everything
in fact most of what i paint only use the hard round for everything
the colors however i cant seem to them as i want most of the time

Colours are very hard to master, it takes a lot of observation. But on the other hand if values are more less right, you can choose whatever colour you want... You're on a good way as I can see in your gallery! Unfortunatelly in art we have to take two steps back to come four ahead...

exactly
it takes practice and that as well
the min problem is getting them on the right tone at first
thanks dude
i use some color references to help me out sometimes
yeah i feel exactly that
hope it is a good thing then

i dont think i have words to describe this piece
if i ever get the chance ill buy a print in mega poster size
my only regret is that the creature is still a bit on the rough
but with the perspective it couldnt be there much to be done

Pozdro!

O, to ciekawe. Kurczę, chciałbym kiedyś skończyć na podobnym etapie. Wiesz, coby się odnosić do pojedynczych elementów, i na ich podstawie rysować. Rany. To by było super!
Ale, w każdym bądź razie, dziękuję pięknie, i również pozdrawiam!
