I love that he is using a "real" Crow-Quill dip pen
*suddenly has horrifying flashbacks of other kids in high school art class pressing too hard and snapping them* (I would always hide a good one that wasn't messed up)

I always dreaded pulling one out of the bin and finding out the "prongs" were spread out
YOU CAN'T DO STIPPLING WITHOUT A PERFECT FINE POINT PEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I actually... um... "borrowed"... one of the new extra fine points the teacher had got in when too many were broken and I "protected" it in my pencil case... at the end of the year she let me keep it since I took such good care of it)

As you can see I take art seriously. (no puns)
BTW: I also did the same with an extra fine point "real" watercolor brush... (the horror.... those perfectly groomed bristles... must protect the bab)
(alas... years later a friend borrowed it to paint a mini with acrylic based paint and didn't clean it enough...)
U CAN'T USE THE SAME BRUSH FOR WATERCOLOR AND ACRYLIC PAINT!!!! U CAN'T CLEAN IT ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
