Well, This is the only clean render I got off this image after many attempts to render it at a decent resolution.
It seem that no matter what version of D|S I used it would shut down the moment it tried to render a pixel of the floor. Can't figure it out... Oh well, At least I got this render to get my thoughts across atleast.

As always, Comments, Creative Critique, and Praise are welcomed and encouraged.

Edited (06-22-09) to add a backstory:
Well, Fermmoylle mentioned that this image is begging for a back story. Though there was no such story in mind when the image was being created, I thought I would enter my foray into Fictional writing by adding one. So….

Zora was a beautiful princess who thought her beauty was deserving of a place among the gods. After defying the gods at every turn she gained for her self a portion of immortality. However, for her many transgressions, the gods saw fit to punish her. They limited her immortality to a palace upon a mountain top. If she should ever leave the confines of her prison, the years would come upon her in a great wave erasing her beauty and leaving her as a dried husk. Many years passed and her beauty was forgotten. Watching the world pass below the palace, her vane heart began to soften and she yearned for love and eventual peace. As a cruel twist of fate, the gods provided only one escape, throwing her self from the place to the valley below insuring her destruction.
No longer being able to bear the loneliness, she leaps to her doom. On her way down the gods took mercy upon her to some degree and though they allowed her to die, her body was perfectly preserved and her soul linked to the body. The villagers there took her body to a temple and worshiped her as a goddess. Her body lay in state in perfect beauty while her soul whispered help to those who came to visit her. She helped many people find the love she so wished she had. As things usually do, sentiments changed among the people and the worship of the “Old gods” became unfashionable.
In an attempt to burn the temple and the body of Zora, a lone priest stood before the mob to defend the goddess whom he had never seen for he was blind. Over the years he had fallen in love with her soul and saw the beauty in the advice she gave freely to the many who came seeking her help. This act finally convinced the gods who imprisoned her that she had payed her debt. And bringing her back to life, they granted sight to the priest and whisked them both to a land far away where they lived out their days as simple farmers. Dieing happily in love with one another.

Thank you! 3D stuff isn't hard to get started in, but to get things to look right takes a little. I am working on modeling and Stereo Anagrams now. But Posing is a fun way to learn 3D and develop skill which have helped me a TON in Photography. (Nothing like messing in a virtual Studio trying to experiment with lighting!) Hope to see more of your work!

It would be cool if you developed an RPG one day. Hope to see more of your work as well!

Thank you! Well the RPG that I have planned is a little more sci-fi based. I think I will start with a series of short stories first to introduce the concepts. But I first have to invent the 36 hour day as that is about the only way I will have time to do anything! Well, We do what we can with what we have!
Thanks for the comment! I may need to do a Goth Fairy for you one of these days...

Sounds really neat I can't wait to see it!

She doesn't necessarily have to be a Goth fairy just make her have purple clothing. I'm still very much into the Goth subculture but no longer dress like that.

This is one of those pieces begging for a backstory. What did you have in mind when starting creating it?

Honestly... What image can I make now that I have loaded this clothing set... I saw the outfit and thought it would look cool. This image happens to be like the 3-4th version as it kept evolving as I tried different hair, poses, and backgrounds. As it is, I could never get it to render at the resolution I wanted. This was the Viewport render after importing it into D|S3 Beta in frustration about it not rendering in D|S 2.3. This is the only render I could get of this image. Now I am not sure I will try anymore. I think I will just move on to the next idea.
