Me too! Thanks! ...can't take credit for the pose or even the stump, I used an old postcard as reference, so the credit for that should go to the wonderful photographers, Tom Stack and Associates, Robert Winslow.

These are great!
What kind of pencil/pastel/colour source are you using?

Thanks!
I used Laurentien colored pencils, Laurentien Studio pencils, Derwent colorsoft pencils, Prismacolor pencils, Progresso woodless colored pencils, and a Derwent blender pencil.
I have quite the collection of colored pencils that I seem to have gathered this past year. Some I like better than others. My main complaint about all of them is that they all seem to break a lot, except the woodless ones. Grrrrrr! very frustrating! Especially when you spend a few extra dollars for the better quality ones! Sigh...

i know how that feels, i bought 2 woodless pencils to try out and they both broke in half in my bag in around 2 weeks >.>
and those sure are a lot of pencil crayons o.o I suppose having such a wide variety would allow you to find exactly the colour you need

I haven't as yet, had any of my woodless pencils break, thankfully. I don't actually have sets of all of these, some of them I buy 1 at a time as I need them. Not to say that I don't have plenty of them though...lol!
I tend to keep my pencils in boxes so they don't break as much, and I don't carry them around. But that's not to say someone in the store hasn't dropped them at some point.
Even the new ones break fresh from the store!

Great job on the kitten, and he even looks like he's saying that. The papers you're using seem to really bring out the textures of the fur.

Thanks! I love the new paper, except I need to watch and make sure my fingers aren't greasy. It seems finger prints show up on this paper quite easily.

No problem. What kind of paper is it that it shows fingerprints?

It's card stock paper. If your fingers are a bit oily, they show up if you hold onto the paper while you work apparantly.
