Some painting practice inSAI...Dedicated to

I started out drawing this to use in another painting I have in the works, of the lovely because she loves faeries, but I loved the faery so much I thought she deserved her own piece. The wings were a trial...I repainted them 3 times! O.o!

Not sure how long this took, but I've been working on it for over a week off and on.

A lovely Spring Faery, poised upon some mushrooms, enjoyng the sun.

Thank you to for letting me use this lovely photo of her daughter as reference for this piece. I know that the faerie's face doesn't exactly look like her, but I'm still very new to digital painting. I need more practice

Edit: Just remembered that the mushroom reference was also from her stock account...
