Thank you I'm quite pleased with it ... it adds something, but not in your face something. Much more subtle colours than I would usually use too.

i like the layered look you get with these. Are the watercolours difficult to use? It looks like your colouring some very small details.

Watercolours aren't difficult to use ... you do have to work quickly with them on cartridge paper as they dry very quickly. You also can't work over the top with layers of colour as you can on watercolour paper. And yes, some of the details were very small, but I used a size 2 brush with very delicate strokes. I think the addition of gum arabic to the watercolour helps to contain it, as well as adding to the transluscence and clarity of the colour too.
