Description This one just appeared in around 4 hours or so - it's only little, around 6" square. Technical pen and black ink on white cartridge paper.

Fun to do ... and the entanglement seems to be important at the moment so some stuff wandering around the old brainbox ...

Hmmm... This one's elegant and sober and at the same time fun and flowing. Nice one.

Are you planning to experiment with techniques like this this year?

Thank you! I'm glad you like

I'm sure more stuff like this will appear over the coming year and longer - it's fun to do, a different way to make use of my 'art vocabulary' and a way to practice techniques, as well as stress-relief/calming/pleasure

Same here! I've been experimenting too, trying to get involved in new stuff, you know...

You know, I've always believed one can actually sense an artist's feelings when you look at their paintings/drawings/whatever... My point is, I can really feel you are in love with everything you do, and *sigh* well... I don't really get to say this everyday, but you've been a great source of inspiration for me - I've been thinking of creating some drawings with a psychedelic point of view, and I'd really be honored if you took a look at them and - I don't know, give me your opinion, perhaps...?

Would you, would you, would you?

Ok, I just realized this sounds obsessive, so I'll just shut the freak up.

Experimenting, trying out new things, or using 'old' things in a new way at least, is soooo important. If you don't you never grow or evolve, and I believe we are on this Earth to grow/evolve our inner selves. It also stops you getting bored with the same stuff, and it also challenges you too ... not you as in you personally but a general you that includes me too!

Yes, I really do love my art, creating it, getting lost in it. It's a great source of pleasure, joy, peace too. the tag line for my 'company' when I finally get to sell my creations is 'Art inspired by and created with love', and that's love in the widest sense of the word.

I'd be happy to take a look at anything you do, and any words I have will be constructive (comes from being a teacher!), but I'm no expert on art, far from it.

Challenges are also a good way to find out sth. new about yourself, I mean sometimes I look at some of my drawings and it's like- I actually did this?

Aaahhh, I can actually spend hours immersing myself into *my* world in a sheet of paper, and I adore that feeling!

Hmmm... Most of the art teachers I've had agree that "I have something rotten inside my head..." I'd say just different. "Constructive"? Yay! *dances awkwardly in circles*

Losing hours in art is good ... though I've not had much of a chance this week now i'm back at school.

There is nothing wrong with being different ... I'm beginning to accept my 'differentness' - don't be awkward about it!
