Description
I decided that I could do with a bit of a challenge/shakeup artistically speaking. So, I looked at the challenge lists on offer for Sketchtember.

I settled on one from #DecayingDots , a list full of herbs/plants.

It's been a long time since I used a sketchbook as a sketchbook. Mostly, mine become filled with finished, or mostly finished, artworks. Doing this challenge not only gives me the focus for something a little different, but will give me 'permission' to sketch imperfectly and sometimes unfinished.

It's also the opportunity to practice my rather rusty hand lettering and hand writing too, as I won't be able to resist including notes about the various plants.

All good fun I think!

I do have a vlog on YouTube today showing and talking about this page, and the one for day 2, which is rosemary.
