I never got that either, though this outfit is pink because it's a sugar plum fairy tutu and she's always pink.
The ballet teacher that owns it does a lot of nutcrackers in the detroit area and usually does the duet with the sugar plum fairy. Since each tutu varies in length, strength and fluffiness he got tired of dealing with having to adjust to a different tutu for each performance and just bought one that can be fit to multiple sizes so that all the sugar plums could wear it and he wouldn't have to adjust anymore. (thought the smaller you are the better, I was one of three girls at the studio that it fit until they had it resized. I think now it's too big for me...

I'm gonna try it soon for my rue cosplay but trying to find your exact pointe shoe style dyed to the correct color is even harder...

I simply refuse to use flats or regular slippers! Unless the costume calls for it.

If I'm gonna do Princess Tutu or any other future ballet on pointe cosplays, dang it my shoes are gonna match!!! Plud if I put all those years into pointe training I am not going to let them go to waste!

Sweet, very fluffy and sweet! All that springy adorable pink on your outfit, plus those shiny, encrusted jewels assembled on that cute top and your cotton candy fluffy tutu skirt! And showing off in a glistening sunshine reflecting on your pink tights and shiny pointe shoes! My heart is melting like snow right now, you are too cute in that outfit! I hope you can bring it back for a spring photoshoot when the temperatures warm up, snow melts, and cherry blossoms bloom! All that pink will go soooo good with all the pink flowery trees! I need to hug you to show just cute you really are! =^_^=

Well thank you though I'm not sure if I'll be able too. Not only does the costume belong to a teacher of mine but he's had it altered because most dancers cannot fit into it because it's so small. So now it would be too big for me
