As Emily walked with Vanessa through the mall, she couldn’t help noticing how quiet it had become. Sarah tended to keep things lively, and Emily herself tended to be the last one to bring up a new topic.

When she looked back, it became clear why the conversation had died down. Sarah and Lacey were nowhere to be found. Vanessa didn’t seem to have noticed, as she was walking with some kind of purpose.

“Hey, Vanessa. Did we leave those two behind?” Emily finally managed to say. This broke Vanessa out of her groove, and she snapped her head back to look behind her.

“Whoa, that’s weird. Where did those two get off to?” Vanessa asked, finally seeming to grasp the situation.

“Oh, there they are!” Emily said, finally spotting Lacey and Sarah waving from a side hallway. However, something seemed wrong. Their lipstick was smeared, and their hair was no longer straight. They were beckoning Vanessa and Emily over to them. Maybe because they didn’t want to be seen that way? But why weren’t they in the bathroom?

Emily nudged Vanessa over to the other girls, and they quickly regrouped.

“What happened to you two? You look- wha! Mmph!” Emily started to ask, but found herself violently yanked into the shadows by Lacey. As she tried to cry out, something soft was crammed into her mouth and her complaint was silenced.

Emily tried to struggle against her captor, but she was still flustered by the sudden development. Before she could find her bearings, she felt a jolt coursing through her body. She felt her body starting to spasm uncontrollably. As she struggled to break herself away from the situation, she could no longer tell if she was contributing to the twitching or working against it.

Finally, her body’s movements completely subsided. With her gag now gone, Emily wanted to sigh in relief, but her body remained limp. She tried to move, but she found herself completely paralyzed. Finally, her head turned, but it wasn’t in response to her own intentions.

She found herself looking down to see Vanessa, who was now sprawled out on the ground and motionless with Sarah standing above her. Emily called out to Vanessa, but it only echoed around within her own head.
