The Matryoshka fever is never over! 8D Haha!

I asked ~Aeade a few weeks before the event if he had any plans of cosplaying for AFA and he said he didn't have one. So I asked him if he wanted to cosplay Matryoshka!Gakupo with me during the 2nd day and when he agreed, we pushed through with it! 8D Hee~ Thanks, Andre ~Aeade for cosplaying with me~

During the 2nd day, I arrived a bit late at the venue (because my mom and aunt and I had to change hotels), went to a washroom and prepared by myself. When Andre, Romi ~wildquaker , and I met with the rest, we roamed around the venue to take pics (and spy on lots of ozm cosplayers, hehe!). It's some twist of fate that we found Vic ~thebakasaru who was cosplaying Matryoshka!Gumi~ And the rest, they say, is history. XD

Costume details/whatnot (in case you're interested):
While looking for reference photos for my Matryoshka!Kaito cosplay, I came across three versions: [link] , [link] , and [link] . I've asked around if there's at least an official art of Kaito in this version, checked HachiP and all that, but failed. There were several variations, so I decided, why not combine them all in one go? That way, I'd be able to at least have an element of each of the version: my hairstyle (supposedly) like the one in the first link, my green jacket (and make-up) from the second, and the black scarf from the third.

I was in a dilemma one week before the event, too, because I had considered sewing my own jacket if I can't find anything even close to the shade of green jacket that I was aiming for, however that deemed impossible. But at the last minute, exactly one day before our flight to Singapore, I went to the mall to gather materials and finally spotted a jacket that was nearest to the shade of green I was after. So that afternoon, I test-painted the design (using acrylic and textile paint) on another jacket I bought from a thrift shop (cost me around S$2.50) but it failed big time. [link] Reconsidered stitching leather but the only color I have was black; tried painting it white using acrylic only to find out that it won't stick on the material, so I scrapped the idea. Sucked up the courage to paint on the newly bought hoodie, and somehow it turned okay... [link] until it dried up and looked cracked (literally) the day after (which I haven't taken a pic of yet). OTL|| I'm really bound to redo, hurr!

I'd like to thank Mr. Hair dryer because if it hadn't been for him, I wouldn't have been able to finish this on time. But maybe it's also because of him that the design cracked when it dried, orz

BUT! I had fun painting the design and when my mom (who usually isn't so interested on whatever cosplay-related I was doing) told me that it looked nice and realistic, I felt really proud. Even my aunt gave me the thumbs up. Well, sorta. XD

Anyway, that's it for the mishaps and little adventures and dilemma that I've undergone for this costume, ohoho~ It's kinda weird that I've been through all these stuff for a simple costume. I wonder what'll happen if I try to make one that's more hardcore, HAHA! Thanks for reading, XD (Might have bored you, though, kekekekekekekeke)
