Howl and Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle!
I tried to make Calcifer a little less (or more?) stylized, but he looks like a blob. O wells!

Copic marker, waercolor, and acrylic paint on bristol. I didn't really keep up with the time on this one because I was up at 3 am this morning finishing it D:

The light streaks are absolutely amazing and add a ton of life to this. However, they don't seem to match up to the lighting on Howl's face. I think the shadows need to be a bit more dramatic and perhaps yellow-tinted.
On a random sidenote, I just noticed how you can see Howl's thumb through Calcifer!! Too cool!

It is so amazing, I LOVED Howl's Moving Castle, I have it on DVD and I watch it all the time xD;. Calcifer and Howl are my favourites, too~ amg this is so cool. I love the way you colour, especially the background, it's so detailed, it must have taken ages! D:
