It's supposed to look alien as it is a human mutated by an alien substance. Nice work.

Have to say, I do like your design. Simple yet elegant. I mean, I liked the giant slugs from the old 80s movie, though that might be my nostalgia goggles being on so tight they're cutting off the circulation to my brain. And while the design for the Navigators in the SciFi Chanel mini-series in the...what was it? Late nineties? Early 2000s?...they weren't bad, but they were strange...which I suppose is the point Dune being what it is. However it's just one man's opinion, and in my opinion this is the best design for a Stage 3 Navigator I've yet seen.
Thanks for sharing!

This is great; it's my favorite depiction of the navigator.

To quote from the Dune book I'm reading "Are guild navigators even human anymore?" "Who knows?"

Hey this is an awesome take on the Guild Navis. Body seems more atrophied from humanity, which I like, and sort of amphibian.

Yeah, Herbert always described them as a cross between a fish and a cricket. I think that sounds creepy and awesome. Much better than the phallic circus peanut from the David Lynch film.

I agree I really disliked the look of the david lynch navigator they didint convey the look and feel of something as intellegient and cunning as they were soppest to be.

Ever seen the Sci-fi channel remake in Children of Dune? This one looks very much like the one that was the ambassador on Arrakis. I guessed it was a 3rd stage from the preview! Awesome work!

It's not alien in the least. It is, in fact, 100% human.
In any case, this is an excellent reinterpretation of the Navigators of the Dune series of novels.
