The tattoo wasnt my idea, I tried to push for a different design but the client liked the tribal stuff.

I'm the one that made him do it, haha, so you can blame me. He actually suggested something less blatant and obvious, but the image is for a book I wrote and that was the tattoo the main character had, so that's what I asked for. The color of the dinosaur was all him too, I basically just said "blue" and he came up with that awesome shaded effect. I couldn't be happier with the final image, it's better than I dared toΒ hope!

Amazing work! How many layers do you usually use? Is that what enables you to transform the size and shape of already painted elements?
