Hi! just bought this! but for some reason I cant the tool presets to work i'm getting a: "File not compatible with this version of Photoshop" is there any other way I can get the presets?

Wat version of photoshop are you using? I made the tool presets in cs5 and I dont thing you can use them in any photoshop older than cs5.

Just pay with your allowance or get a job. If you really want to learn something, you don't mind paying for it if you have to, certainly not such a small amount of money.

I'm not here for preaching. I'm here for looking at art, getting inspired, then spending 20 minutes on what could of been a great piece, just to give up after noticing how poor mine is in comparison due to it's utter in-completion. If I had the time to make a paypal, I would, but unfortunately I'm still unable to even get my drivers license, let alone get a job. I don't get an allowance, I get paid $1.64 an hour by my grandfather, doing farm work. If the work were available, and my (grand)parents were willing to, I'd of bought this by now. Unfortunately, in my life, I don't get the same opportunities as you. So don't expect the same from me.

First rule of art, never give up! Just keep pushing yourself.
Paypal is free by the way, and it's quite easy. You might want to try saving a bit of money every time,
so you'll have the cash for stuff like this after a while.
And trust me, I know what it means to not have a lot of money. To me, however, it means cutting corners elsewhere,
So I can slowly finance my dreams to come true.
But here's a little tip to get you started: Look for CTRL Paint, a great full-course website, and it doesn't cost you a dime.
I hope it helps, good luck, and never give up on your dreams, no matter how far away they might seem sometimes.

I still stand by my previous comment, but that doesn't mean I can't try and help you. But now that I've read your comments above, to other people, I feel that I have spend my time on a person that doesn't want help, and doesn't take art seriously. And I cannot appreciate people wasting my time.
So I hope that you DO take art seriously, and instead of spending 200 dollars on games, spend 197 dollars on them, so you can afford stuff that can actually help getting you forwards. So you can now either try to come up with some great lines to add to this discussion, or you can take it all in, and start working on yourself and on your art.

I didn't waste all of my money on games, I have some left for things that I care about, like family and friends. I have it set aside for others, and I deny any chance of spending even the smallest amount of it on myself. Art doesn't NEED to be taken seriously, and that's where you're a fucking dick about it. The fact that arvalis put time and effort into this and sharing their skills is amazing, $3 is barely a formality for this handout.

Listen man, I know what is worth my time and money, but I'm not having a damn good time today. $200 worth of video games was recently taken from me, and I've had a lot of time put into them. Not only that but I've been making and sharing comedic videos of them, which I enjoy doing. I'm not in the mood for talking about money, or knowledge, or time, or schooling, or anything.
