Well the old one [link] has aquired so many views and arguments i felt it was time for a sequel. I know that it is not as good as the original, but i have been trying to come up with another idea that is as good for a long time. This time i drew the twilight princess master sword and hylian shield, both of which werent released to the public when i had drawn the last one. I put master chief in his halo 3 mjolnir armor, by the way it is over the top complicated. I didnt give master chief a gun, because i liked the way his hands came out and i didnt want mess with them. Link has got to be pretty strengthy to lift master chief off the ground with only his sword. Well i hope all you zelda haters die and rot away.Pen: 35 min

In no universe would this happen... Kudos, it's an amazing drawing. But come on, even if the Chief was unarmed, he would win simply because a sword would not pierce his armor. If you read up on Halo lore to know a little more about the Spartan II program, there's little argument to be made.
But then again, why pit an iconic RPG protagonist against an iconic FPS protagonist? It's like comparing nail clippings to an anorexic walrus.

Link is armed with whatever weapons he has available to him from the Zelda games, you can pick.
MC is armed with a Binary Rifle, a Gravity Hammer and invisibility.
The battle ground is an open field and the two are 200 yards from one another.
NOW. Who wins in your opinion and why?

But still, pray tell me how does he win against Chief if they are fighting in an open field, the two are 200 yards from one another and MC is armed with a Binary Rifle? How does Link beat a guy that can easily one shot him with a sniper shot that incinerates the entire body on contact?
The logical answer is he can't. Pretty much no matter how you slice it, MC would win as most of his weapons deal more damage from a longer range. Key word: Range.

Key word: Nayru's Love or Magic Armor.Β Its tough to be killed when you're impervious to damage.Β Also if you can arm Master Chief with whatever you want from his games the same is true of Link, who can carry much more stuff.Β Not to mention that Link can both time travel and control the weather.Β The scifi magic shit Master Chief has isn't up to snuff with legit magic.Β

Well Link does have time travel, so he has that perk. However, Link CAN die. And when being hit by a high powered weapons (which put all of Ganon's minion's weapons to shame) means Link wouldn't last long. A few shots with Forerunner weaponry and Link's body would be incinerated. Magic armor be darned. :3

Master Chief would kill him from... a long, LONG way away. If he were given any kind of sniper rifle- SRS99B, Binary Rifle, etc... then Link has already lost. Ditto with the Energy Sword or... anything, really.

I love the Zelda series, fuck my friends are obsessed with it. But Link v.s. John??? No, just no. It's not just about anyone hating Link at all, I mean have you SEEN what Master Chief has done?! This picture is beyond bias, I love both series with a passion, but even I KNOW Link would suffer greatly. The art style is amazing granted, but I can't be fond of whats being depicted, I simply can't. John would make Link wish he wasn't even conceived, even rot in a hole. And that's a flat fact. And don't even talk about "Magic", that's not going to save him. The real winner is Master Chief, sorry to break the news to ya.

well, reality goes like this...
master cheif gets active camo (if its even necessary) sneeks behind link, slices out his leg, spins him around, stabs him on the right side of the gut, lifts him up with he knife still in him, and uses his other hand to grab the left side of links body and slice him in half with the knife
im sorry dude, but its called a gel shield and space aged technology in the hands of a genetically modified superhuman. A magic sword aint gonna fix the outcome.
