Heres a character concept that was inspired by a really windy and rainy walk home one night. You know how when its raining really hard and the wind is blowing you start to have to wield your umbrella like a shield with both hands. Thats kinda what i was thinking.He is a guide to help people through very harsh terrain. I figure his umbrella is to deal with as of yet undecided dangerous falling rocks or heavy rain. The trigger on his umbrella opens the shield, havent decided if it fires anything yet. Tried to make him pretty douchey as well, he is a real asshole.

Really love the shading and values. How the little highlights here and there bring out the different textures just blows my mind. This took you 8-10 hours. I really wish I was in the environment where I could practice stuff like this. Keep it up man, your work makes me want to kick it into gear, even when I don't have the time.

I like his clothes, there really wild and he does look like a guide or a mountain ranger. 8 - 10 hours is pretty good for this too.
