For this illustration I wanted to try to depict the "benora", one of the many different and unique-looking creatures existing in Keali's universe, strolling on a journey through a forest/mountainlike biome. Here, it is taking a small moment to pose as its rider is busy collecting something on the sideline, giving us the opportunity to get a good look at it! The benora is a domesticated species found in the Sora Hiine region, often being used by the locals as a mount ^^ The creativity and "surrealistic" style for this design was definitely what perked my interest!
As for the "theme", I originally wanted to put this under "A friendly meeting"(between the benora and the viewer) since the benora to me appears absolutely adorable, although as the drawing progressed I realized it could probably just as well qualify for the "A scary encounter" theme as well, depending on who you are XD I know for sure had I been the one encountering this creature out of nowhere in a dark forest, I'd think twice about approaching that gaping maw!
I had a blast drawing this and delving into the benora's world, thank you for letting me join! ^^

Holy beeswax this looks amazing! I like how you wrote a bit about the scene! It really helped fill in the blanks of what was going on. ^^Ā
Yeah benora can headbutt peeps that they don't trust, but they're more or less not very hostile. More of a "lets try and flee first" type.Ā
