I wouldn't touch this image with any sort of effect. This is almost profound because, your story aside, this is complete and utter silence and zen. His head down sort of symbolizes the acceptence of things as they are. This is the perfect representation of what I think of when I hear Buddhist Monk. Absolutely beautiful image. +Fav.

Although I am not a Buddhist I am very interested in the philosophy and try to follow the Noble Truths. I also love the quotes of Lao Tzsu.
