Flare is a Demon Pony who can blow Blue fire.
Flare escaped from Tartarus, passing through Erebus on his way out when twilight was dealing with Cerberus in Season 2 Episode 20: "It's About Time".
Tartarus is the lowest region of the world, as far below Equestra as Equestra is from heaven.
Erebus is the area between the Underworld and the Equestra.
He had escaped with his sister, Ember, who lost each-other on the way out:

Why not? What's the point of OCs if you don't RP? You might never be that character at all if you don't. OCs shows yourself in a different person or pony. Drawing them in different virtual style won't show their expressions about anything. You'd be staring at the screen, expecting them to come alive. Don't you daydream always whenever you are bored or something? Like as if you part of that show your like, you'd be role playing with them in your own mind
