I like to try to convey character. It's a lil'something that makes me happy.
When I read the character refs and saw her, I felt like she needed sunlight and blue skies. Didn't inspire me to go "sexy" on her. There's a time and a place for it. Had I been asked to draw Emma Frost, I wouldn't have gone for "cheery"

Stargirl is a DC Comics character. She debuted in a comic book called Stars & Stripes (She was called Star Spangled Kid at the time). Courtney (Stargirl) is now a member of the JSA (Justice Society of America) and is in that monthly comic book.

As for the pic above... IT IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!! My only complaint is I like the spear tip version of the Comsmic Rod instead of the hook.
