Hi there! First of all, no, she's not a guy and her name's not Bob hahaha
I called the piece BOB because of the haircut wich is actually called "BOB". It's a straight haircut that reaches a height between the jaw and neck and is usually accompanied by a fringe. Its origin dates back to the First World War, when for practicity and hygiene purposes nurses began to cut their hair.
I always loved this haircut but I never dared to wear it so... I decided to put it on one of my girls
You can actually see the date of the drawing in the bottom so I'm not gonna lie... yes, it's an old drawing hehe buuuuut... I'm working on some new pieces but not like the ones I've been uploading lately I'm thinking more on doing more detailed stuff like I used to do on my first steps... I miss those days and I want to go back and do what I loved, getting so lost in my drawings and forgetting about the rest, it was... I don't know how to describe it but it was magic.
I'm not saying that I don't enjoy drawing anymore, not at all. It's that I've got a lot of stuff going around in my head that I can't fully focus on anything, you know, because of life. I work most part of the day and it left me so little time to dedicate to my drawings and there's the other problem wich is my backbone... drawing causes me pain but the good news are that I'm handling it kind of good, little by little of course but I'm doing pretty good.
But I'm not complaining... you know what people say: "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and it won't kill me haha
Now... stuff I used for the drawing:
6b and 2b pencils, a common eraser, common paper and I used a reference but I ended up changing everything, the only thing I preserved from the photo is the idea of the angle and the haircut... because I love her hair haha I don't remember who was the picture from because I saw it on the internet and I didn't save it so I'm gonna try to find the person who upload the photo and I'm going to show her or him this piece
So comments and critics are aloud anytime, I won't bite hehe

P.D: Original looks way so much better and my scanner is lame but is the only one I have so... yeah.
