Story:
Thomas Wyatt Vestergaard, named after his godfather, was born to a wealthy family in Odense, Denmark, on October 19th, 1838. He was fascinated with steam power, and began tinkering with machines at an exceptionally young age. By middle school, he was already building tons of working robots (for no reason). His first choice of career was to be an inventor, and he ended up majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in English.
Thomas spent his early twenties in solitary, pumping out inventions that became major necessities to the outside world.
Ideas, visions, and/or fantasies began popping into his head of a place, or a country, where industry ruled over most of peoples lives and they were always happy, free from worries, war, greed, jealousy, religion, suppression, hate, and sad-ness. He dreamed clearly of an Utopia of intelligent beings working together to expand a rich, peaceful nation who treasured science and industry and art and whatnot. It seemed too good to be true in any way, so he went and wrote a book that didn't get published until later and that's important.
Laterer he went back to the university and there he met Elegie L. Frear, an architect, former traveling artist, and designer of various subjects. They became the best of friends! It was there he also encountered Captain Kästel Pioché (name NOT my idea), an old rebellious fanatic of his, and Thomas realized his reveries of a magical country were very real. You'll see.
After receiving his doctorate, Thomas became a Danish ambassador to various countries in Europe, where he came across future members of his "Coterie of Biviüm".
Then a lot of stuff happened, he got knighted, and where modern-day New Brunswick would've been, the majestic territory of Biviüm became its own country in late 1864.
A set of fundamental principals that insured the people's rights and such was hand-written by Sir Vestergaard, approved by the other five members of the Coterie, and ratified, etc. In early 1864. So yeah.

The rest is history.

And in the future there's this one girl with a deviantArt account who's seriously written like five books on this and needs to post some of it before someone else comes up with the same idea.

Cause of death: Suicide
