absolutely beautiful. This is one of my favorite scenes, when sophie wakes up and finds howl in bird-form. Really great and soft colors (i especially like the colors in his feathers) capture that dreamlike feeling in the tunnel. Great expressions as well, sophie loves howl no matter what and he seems so full of disbelief. <3Β

What I love about this the most is the expressions here, Sophie's is the classic heroine in love, but Howl's is the most breathtaking, here he has been reduced to a significantly monstrous form, so the fact that Sophie, a kindhearted beauty is willing to not only touch but show affection for him is baffling in his mind, especially since he is obsessed with his image.
