Description
The picture to my first book chapter - "Blood in the Snow". My DA test readers will hopefully recognize the scenery - for all others: It's an arcane ritual done by an Arcanate of the element earth.And yes ... those dots are insane.

Love the scenery, the image really looks kind of ... alive. All those dots are impressive and certainly add to the overall picture. Out of everything, I do like the streaks of (green) light the most, though.
Funny metal gesture from the Arcanate, too, though I bet that was unintentional.

*hehe* I recognized this gesture after finishing the piece - but even the Metal fans have stole this gesture from the ancient romans. This was the gesture to make curses stronger to lay them upon others ...

Now I'm the one who is flattered. I know what you mean about being happy with a picture. I hold on to those and always try to make the next one even better. Doesn't always work out but it does give me something to work towards.

Hmm. Both could be interesting. Just an idea: How about a meeting between two people from different dimensions/lands/etc that are meeting for the first time. Our two styles could represent the different appearances of the two people. Maybe something like a mortal and an immortal? Just an idea. Let me know if you have anything in mind.

I like the idea with the two different people ... maybe a human and an angel .. or two different alien races with very special own styles .. or the classic fantasy scenario human - elf .. what would you prefer? I even could think about an historical scenario .. eg roman - egyptian .. or roman and another nation?

Hmm. I love so many of those stories. Jason meets Medea (they're both human, but still cool), Diomedes battles Aphrodite in front of Troy, Persephone and Hades (both immortal, but...), Jason and Athena, so many! Any of those sound interesting? Suggestions?

Mh .. I would prefer the Persephone-and-Hades-story, liked that very much since childhood, it is such a tragic story. Indeed, I could even think of Paris getting the apple from Aphrodite (the best meeting between mortals and immortals, I think^^).

I agree that Paris and Aphrodite is a great story, but Paris is such a...I don't know. He's kind of a punk. What do you think? Persephone or Paris? Aphrodite or Hades?

Okay .. then I'm gonna draw Persephone. I think it would be the best they are looking at each other - eg. Hades on the left side of the picture looking to the right side and Persephone vice versa.
